A study conducted at Harvard Medical School found that naps can improve the brain’s cognitive abilities, improve concentration, and strengthen memory. It takes about 45 minutes to 2 hours to take a nap, and it really helps to refresh the tired brain.
The study, published in the journal of the American Geriatrics Society, states that the brain will work better when it gets time to rest when it’s tired of working during the day. Both those who took a nap for only 45 minutes or two hours, both benefited from experiencing increased cognitive abilities.
