In fact, the study, published in the International Journal of Cancer, found that women who ate at least a third of an ounce of fresh mushrooms per day (approximately one mushroom per day) had a 64% lower risk of developing breast cancer.

An even more surprising finding, when women combined eating mushrooms every day with regular green tea consumption, the benefits were greater, reducing the risk of breast cancer by 89%.
