Causes of Hypoglycemia

- Consuming alcoholic beverages to excess.
- Rarely eat healthy foods so that the body lacks nutrients.

- Diabetics who use normal doses of insulin are also at risk of developing hypoglycemia if they eat less carbohydrate foods.
How to Overcome Hypoglycemia
If you experience symptoms of hypoglycemia, immediately consume foods that contain high sugar levels, such as candy, sugary drinks, or fruit juices to restore blood sugar levels to normal numbers. In addition, people with hypoglycemia are also advised to eat carbohydrate foods that can be quickly converted into sugar intake by the body, such as rice, bread, cereals, and biscuits.
If the sufferer’s symptoms are too severe or the initial treatment was not effective enough to reduce the symptoms of hypoglycemia, you should immediately go to a doctor or hospital. Doctors can immediately give glucagon injections, which are intravenous fluids containing glucose so that the sufferer’s blood sugar levels return to normal.
